When the question is asked, often times you hear, “A Basketball Player, A Singer, A Football Player, A Teacher!” We’ve decided to take things a little further for our Youth.
Do you remember as a child you were asked, “What do you want to be when you grow up!?” The question is one that MANY Adults ask children to keep them invested and excited about life. When the question is asked, often times you hear, “A Basketball Player, A Singer, A Football Player, A Teacher!” We’ve decided to take things a little further for our Youth. During Spirit Week (our Octoberfest) we asked our younger students (age Infant-Pre School) to dress for Career Day! It was HILARIOUS! Many of them dressed the part to the tee. However, as our School Agers arrived from school, we noticed that many had dreams and aspirations of being something more. We gave them the opportunity to say “what”, “why” and “how” they were going to do it. Some mentioned an Veterinarian, others said a Ballerina, a builder (Architect) and some said a Police Officer! After that, we went into depth of some people who are either famous or strong advocates in the field they chose and they were totally inspired! What does your child want to be when they grow up?
